Human hair Eyelash Extensions

Human Hair volume lashes were created and pioneered by Aesthetician and Lash Expert, Ashley Evans. This newest type of lashing is designed and customized to suit each client’s uniqueness. The lightweight strands bind to the natural lash in a way that is longer lasting and delicate yet still creating a bold, beautiful lash line.  By using natural hair strands on natural lashes, the adhesive creates an interlocking effect causing a strong resilient hold.   Ensuring the health and vitality of the natural lash and follicle.

Note: We do offer synthetic fiber eyelash extensions in the mink type only, as it is lighter and healthier for natural lashes.

Understanding Eyelash Extensions

Eyelash extensions are a safe semi-permanent way to lengthen and thicken the appearance of your natural eyelashes. Eyelash extensions are attached directly to your own individual eyelashes with a cyanoacrylate adhesive. Volumosity typically lasting 2-3 weeks before requiring a Boost. This is because eyelashes naturally grow and shed. The Boost helps ensure your eyelashes stay gorgeously voluminous.

Important Facts

We are frequently asked what products we use for lashes. The inquiry is specific about the types of lashes and the brand of adhesive. In order to answer this question effectively it’s important to discern the reason why the question is being asked. If you’re asking what brand we use in order to avoid an allergic reaction, please read on. The kind of adhesive indicated for use of semi-permanent lash extension application is a type of adhesive called a cyanoacrylate. Some people can develop an allergic reaction to the adhesive (5% of the population is allergic). It usually presents after 3-4 exposures (3-4 months after initial application) to the adhesive. For those who are allergic, the morning after their service the lids of the eyes will be puffy - more swollen than a night of crying. The eyeballs will be “quiet”- no redness or discharge. This condition cannot be avoided by changing brands of adhesive. It will occur every time lashes are applied to an allergic person using the cyanoacrylate. There is relief and clients can continue to enjoy extensions with the allergy, but it will require a visit to a knowing ophthalmologist familiar with working with the nuances of extensions in order to obtain a prescription cream that will prevent the inflammation from occurring when lashes are reapplied. If you have suffered from this kind of allergy, there is relief available and it is not based upon changing name brands of adhesive.

Your natural eyelash health is our top priority. This means that we will only place extensions that are the appropriate weight and length for your lashes. Many times this is not what you are used to from previous artists. Sometimes we have to choose between long or full.

Note: Eyelash extensions should be applied by state licensed and eyelash extension certified professionals only.
